Dear Pinetree Neighbors,

We are reaching out to share some devastating news regarding our neighbors on Club Drive. In the early hours of this past Monday, April 13th, a fire completely destroyed the home of Joe and Sue Napolitano.

While we are incredibly grateful that Joe, Sue, and their dog escaped safely, the loss is total. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Beyond their home and vehicle, they lost everything—including irreplaceable family heirlooms and Joe’s military service medals from his time with the Army 101st Airborne in Vietnam.

After a long career with the Long Island Railroad in New York, Joe and Sue moved to Kennesaw in 2015 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.  Now, we have the opportunity to show them the strength of the Pinetree community.  The Pinetree Civic Association Board has established a GoFundMe to assist with their immediate needs and the long road of rebuilding ahead.  You can see photos of the damage and find the link to donate here:
